We are pleased to report that the main break was repaired, and all laboratory tests have been completed and show that there is no bacteria in the water. It is no longer necessary to boil your water.

On Tuesday, March 10, 2026, BCWSA experienced a main break on Clay Avenue in Penndel. During this,
there was a loss of positive water pressure. This is a signal of the existence of conditions that could allow
contamination to enter the distribution system through back-flow by back-pressure or back-siphonage. As
a result, there is an increased chance that the water may contain disease-causing organisms. Customers in
this area of the water system may be at increased risk from microbial contamination.
